I let myself go
from the ledge
I was born
Stumbled into a boudoir
The hope was dressed in make-up
Five minutes before hitting the stage,
The claps were in the pockets
ready to stand
dusky and dimmer the lights began to show
until the spectacle was unseen to the ticket holder
