Anna Weaver writes as a former soldier, a lover of flatlands, and a woman “with loyalties scattered over the landscape.” Her first chapbook, Some Promise, is forthcoming in 2026 from Finishing Line Press, and she's currently working on a chapbook of poems addressed to her daughters as a companion to her will. A founding member of the Third Angle Poets collective, she’s performed her poetry in 39 states and counting and hosts a vibrant open mic in downtown Raleigh, NC. Find her at annaweaver.net.
