In Our Time

In this ignominious time
I have turned 70.
The world is a sore.
I spend too much time
angry. Yet, today I played
pickleball despite a bad
back. I even hit some shots
I want to talk about.
Enough.
I feel the world shrinking.
I want more.
Tell me why, still I want more.
